Waiting times for NHS patients December 2012
- We are presently booking between 4-8 weeks for NHS assessments
- We are presently booking between 0-8 weeks for NHS treatments (ie. after assessment).
- We are a Specialist Practice who operate a no waiting list policy – if patients are ready to start treatment – we will treat them!
- We require patients to be referred on a standard pro-forma (see downloadable form) and be graded for IOTN – this is a requirement before we are able to assess patients.
- We are only able offer NHS assessments to patients under the age of 18 as per National Health Service Rules and Regulations
- Unfortunately our NHS contract restricts us to providing treatment to new patients in North Shields only, however we are still able to see private patients at Newcastle or North Shields
